Success Stories:
JMA supports the UAS Integration Office and the NextGen Weather Program Office. JMA conducts and facilitates the FAA's SRM panels that assess risk in the NAS. Our work includes Safety Risk Analyses of all airspace operations and classifications. Our support enables the FAA to effectively and efficiently review and approve Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COA) for drone usage in various airspace classifications. We have assisted the FAA with processing over 6,000 COAs. Follow the link for more information on our support for Commercial UAS Operations. In addition, we provide support for developing SRM Documents and Safety Risk Management Decision Memorandums (SRMDM) for weather systems and other changes within the national airspace system.
