JMA Solutions is Ranked at #18 for the Largest Veteran-Owned Companies in D.C.!

Washington, DC - July 22, 2020  - On July 22nd, the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) ranked JMA Solutions at number #18 in its Book of Lists for the Largest Veteran-Owned Companies in Greater D.C. The WBJ’s Book of Lists is a reputable source that highlights the region’s top companies by category and includes contact and capabilities information to assist organizations in identifying potential partners, new target markets, and industry trends. 

This marks the fourth consecutive year that JMA has been recognized in this category. In previous years, JMA was recognized in several other categories including Largest - Veteran-Owned Companies, Minority-Owned Companies, Women-Owned Businesses and Corporate Philanthropist in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.

JMA Solutions’ President and CEO Jan Adams is Reappointed to the District of Columbia’s Retirement Board (DCRB)

Washington, DC – February 20, 2020 – On February 20th, JMA Solutions’ President and CEO Jan Adams was reappointed to serve as a trustee on the D.C. Retirement Board (DCRB). Ms. Adams was appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser and will serve her 2nd term through the year 2024.

“It is an honor to be reappointed as a trustee to the District of Columbia’s Retirement Board,” said President and CEO Jan Adams. “I look forward to continuing my advocacy in ensuring our teachers and public safety officials receive accurate and timely pay benefits throughout the years of their retirement. 

Ms. Adams was first appointed to the board in 2017 and is one of three trustees who were originally appointed by Mayor Bowser to serve on the 12-member board. As a trustee, Ms. Adams will play a critical role in the board’s auditing and investment processes of the Retirement fund.
